From Picts to present day, we reckon there’s a fair bit of Scottish history you’ve never heard about. Aye, we’re confident. After all, there’s been folks scattered across these hills and moors since about 12,000 BCE. And so, we’re wandering the historical heather and exploring the less worn paths of bonnie Scotland and all her glory, missteps and historical omissions.

Meet Your Hosts
Adam McNamara
Scottish actor, writer and father. Some past credits include Macbeth at The Almeida Theatre, the National Theatre of Scotland’s Black Watch, the original West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, plus screen credits including Black Mirror and Vikings among many others.
Natalie Younger
Chicago-based actor, writer and comedian. A regular in Chicago’s bustling sketch and improv comedy scene, a working actor, co-host of Shared History and the Copy Director at an animation studio, she doesn’t know what you know her from, but she’s glad you found her.
Under The Kilt launched in Summer 2021 as a spin off of Shared History.
